I’ll confess to being massively predisposed to Virgin as a brand, anyway, but this was a really nice little pre-launch idea, I thought. They’ve put up a site to get people to name their planes… as a kind of announcement of the coming Virgin US services…

I don’t think they let us Brits name anything, though, which is a shame because I was all set with “Holly Golightly” but it glitched at the end and wouldn’t let me post it – the message “Hey 007, you spying for another airline?” did come up, though – which at least meant that my recommendation was rejected in a nice, light hearted way.
