Conspiracy Theories. Another pet topic!

They’re Memes, really – little ideas that infect – like good ads/virals/etc., they capture people and become self-replicating thoughts… If only we managed to be as effective with most of our work…

I was captivated by the Loose Change stuff last year – whether you buy into it or not, at least someone has had the creativity to put together an argument that flies in the face of sense and accepted belief. And, then there’s the responses – and, in todays world of online sharing, this all happens quickly and you can watch the discussion unfold. If you haven’t seen any of it, have a look – even if it’s only to knock it down as absurd, it’s interesting to see what people are saying.

So, the moon landings were faked, Elvis lives on and so much more – it’s a wonderful world with a bit of story-telling from a conspiracy theorist!

Then, I got sent this today (thanks Chungaiz!)…

Well, actually, he sent a link to a Dazed & Confused article about an installation on ‘Paranoia.’ Which stems from an art installation at The Freud Museum. And, the above video is one of the installations. Click here if the embedded video isn’t showing.
